"I originally got this as a sample, and I was very pleasantly surprised. It felt so luxurious that I finally bought the big one. It is very pricey, so I don't use it every night, but when I do it is such a nice end to my evening skin routine. If you like pachouli, the smell is subtle enough not to be irritating and very relaxing. I think it actually helps me sleep. It has a gel like consistency and it's not greasy. It truly does melt into your skin over night, and I don't feel any residue left over when I wash my face in the morning. My skin is very sensitive, and this is very soothing."

What is the shelf life of this product
Hello Kaliya, Thank you for choosing Dermalogica and your question. Products containing SPF and Acne actives will have an expiration date on the bottle. Once the product reaches the date stamped on the packaging it should no longer be used, otherwise the shelf life for unopened products is about 2-3 years. All other products have an open jar symbol, which is the diagram drawing of a jar with lid and a number in the jar. Most commonly used is 24 M. This means that once opened, the product may be used up to 24 months. This does not mean however that the product may not have changed in smell, texture or even efficacy it only means that it is SAFE to use based on stability data which differs from product to product but in the majority of cases is 24-36 months. How do you open the jar? I twisted it per the directions on the jar, but I couldn't get it to open.
